The Othernode Instagram is a graphic design concept and an ongoing aesthetic investigation into the Instagram medium.
It is basically a never-ending photo grid that I started to build as an experiment in February 2022, and have been adding to ever since.
I thought it would be interesting to use the specific qualities of the Instagram platform to construct an image which could only exist in this medium.
So it started as an attempt at constructing something like “the ultimate Instagram post”.

It also grew to become a sketchbook in a way, so the things that get added tend to be related to whatever I am busy with at the moment.

Which makes an image of 226000*3000 pixels //went with 1.000*1.000 instead of 1.080*1.080 because it is easier to count.
