We are writers who do not read but build musical instruments and write code; instrumentalists who work conceptually in the visual arts; painters who make art about not painting in forms resembling non-art, and so could easily pass as activities of the everyday if positioned differently. We are artist-technologists; Instrumentalist-design-ers; Designperformers; Composition-architects; Theologist-poets; Painter-activists and artistic-researchers. Different perhaps all together but also the same in the way that we share this form of displace and all exist in some sort of crack in the supposedly orderly world where things can be categorized in general ways. It is not really a displace of course, as the world is not really like that. The world is much more messy… and much more beautiful also. As the editor of this magazine I try to capture this somehow…
